Tamiya brings us their Mini-4WD ‘Supporting Kumamoto’ Pastel Blue Chassis! Tamiya offers its sincerest condolences to the southern Japanese Prefecture of Kumamoto and the surrounding area following the series of powerful earthquakes which hit there in 2016, and pledges its help and support. This special Mini 4WD model features a pre-assembled and painted driver figure of Kumamon, the much-loved mascot of Kumamoto, pairing him with a special version of the popular Raikiri body that has clear cockpit parts and new marking stickers for decoration. The midship double shaft motor powered MA chassis is a popular, state of the art base for the model, and is molded in black ABS resin, with matching black low-friction A parts, plus yellow 5-spoke wheels, 26mm low-profile tires and the speedy Rev-Tuned 2 Motor PRO.
The MA (Midship AERO) Chassis has its motor in the center, and features a design which focuses upon achieving outstanding aerodynamic performance. It has a gear ratio of 3.5:1, six individual low-friction rollers, a rear skid bar and other speedy features developed thanks to years of design experience. The single-piece monocoque frame also guarantees that assembling and keeping the car well-maintained is a task that can be performed by beginners and veteran racers alike.
