Announcing the release of the “Chugoku Highway Bus” 50th Anniversary Set, connecting Osaka and Tsuyama!
The Chugoku Highway Bus is an express bus line officially named “Chugoku Kousokusen,” running from Osaka to Tsuyama City in Okayama Prefecture (with some routes passing through Nishiwaki, Kasai, and Kato cities in Hyogo Prefecture).
Since its launch on November 1, 1975, it has been jointly operated by Shinki Bus and Japan National Railways Bus (now West Japan JR Bus). The service will celebrate its 50th anniversary in November 2025.
From June 3 to July 31, 2024, Shinki Bus launched a crowdfunding campaign for a retro paint wrap, which gained significant attention.
With the cooperation of Shinki Bus and West Japan JR Bus, this product commemorates the 50th anniversary by offering a set of two classic Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Bus vehicles.
