This is a plastic model assembly kit that recreates the 1.6-liter Spider, the Giulia 1600 Spider, produced in 1962 at a 1/24 scale.

About the actual car:
The two-seater open sports model, Giulietta Spider, was unveiled by the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo at the 1955 Paris Salon.
This vehicle was developed based on the attractive coupe, Giulietta, which was revealed at the 1954 Turin Show.
The enchanting open-top car, Giulietta Spider, achieved great success, and in 1962, the Giulia 1600 Spider, equipped with a larger 1570cc engine, was added to the lineup.
The design by Pininfarina was largely preserved, and the engine featured a 1.6-liter twin-cam four-cylinder.
It produced a maximum output of 92 horsepower and achieved a top speed of 109 miles per hour.
With the installation of the taller 1.6-liter engine compared to the 1.3-liter, the engine hood was bulged, and an air scoop was designed.
Other than that, there were no major changes, and Pininfarina’s captivating design was carried over, remaining in production until 1964.
